Upon recently re-watching a movie that had a strange effect on me as a child, I felt compelled to post the main theme for Beware! The Blob here. Shit, I had no fuckin' choice. Not only is it moog, but its fuckin' Mort Garson. Not only is it a 70's classic, but it was directed by fuckin' Larry Hagman. Not only was he on I Dream Of Jeanie, but he was clearly stoned when he made this. There's some really strange moments in the film that make the viewer feel kinda awkward for viewing them - the scene with the gay barber and the hippie who pays him $400 to cut off his long hair ... the fat bald Russian who takes a bubble bath with his shitsu, only to smash his window out with a telephone and run down the street naked when attacked by the Blob ... Larry Hagman and Burgess Meredith playing drunk bums that can't stand hippies. I don't know what that means to you, but its fuckin' magical to me, you douche. If anyone could hook me up with the entire goddamn soundtrack, that would be even more magical.
Speaking of magical, I could also use the soundtrack to "War of the Robots" from Marcello Giombini, the genius behind the Antropophagus soundtrack.
